Internal DOA Memorandum

April 9, 2005
12-1840-0004, Western America, AWcID 1-5 Personnel (General Bulletin)

The DOA is aware of several attempted break-ins at DOA Secure Archival Sites over the last week. These sites include but are not limited to Nanaimo-12, Boise-105, Reno-52, Las Vegas-128 and 410, Sacramento-2, and Redmond-142. This may be news to some of you. This is understood. Your safety is not in jeopardy. Neither is your job, not for negligence or otherwise. It was only by the grace of our brave and valiant Security Officers that the thieves were stopped from entering the Sites, so make sure to thank your Site officers for their hard work if your Site reopens. The assailants, and their conspirators within the Archives, were duly taken care of. The Library is secure, and it always will be.

Remote Access via one of our secure terminals and through clearnet mirrors will be disabled for the forseeable future. It has been an unacceptable security risk for far too long. Our ROMULUS will work on an alternative. Your activity will continue to be monitored in this transitionary period.

There will be an investigation. You may be questioned. You may be made to take brief unpaid administrative leave at your Site's Auxillary Detention Center. Do not resist. Do not lie to investigators. Do not panic. They are still considered human, and may make mistakes as such. If you would like to speak with a licensed psychotherapist about this incident/any and all mental trauma caused by or as side effect of the investigation, please direct yourself to your on-site Mental Healing Team. We kindly ask you do not approach external mental health support at this time.

Do not attempt to investigate yourself. It will be handled.

Do not attempt to tamper with, manipulate, or otherwise modify SPIROGRAPH, MNEMOSYNE, and all related infrastructure.

Do not, under ANY circumstances, ████████ ███ ███████ █████ under the ██-███ ████████ in ███████-1.

For the █████.

A message from the Board of Directors, Department of Archives.
